I, 'thekara, promise to stop being the Bitch-Goddess from hell about this whole grad-school thing.

(Or at least  try.)

Maybe going out to buy pumpkins will help. My costume this year (for purposes of answering our door wit' candy: The Woman in Black. Complete with Eye-Patch and Cowboy Hat. UPDATE: Sunglasses worked infinitely better, plus the old string duster I forgot I owned.

And my copies of  matociquala 's  By The Mountain Bound (new book!) and New Amsterdam (new to me!) arrived this morning. Score.

I just really wish there was some way to go into a Jedi-trance and have this paperwork shit be over and done with.

At least online here I've only seen you be normally scared and worried about a major life-changing event. You know, normal human behaviour.

Thank god for LJ friends, who can be supportive without having to live with me/being driven off by the irrational tizzies I get into about this sort of thing. I.E. grand freakouts about GPAs, losing of paper I probably never had in the first place, and probably insignificant things. ( They ran out of pumpkins at the local greenhouse, and that got wrapped up into the whole "E is EPIC FAIL" spiral as well.) Thank god also for NCIS marathons and the adorable that is Sean Murray. I think I'm better now.
