SNOWPOCALYPSE!
Dec. 19th, 2009 08:51 amToday's plan was to have been, bus up to the nursery one town over, pick out our Christmas tree, and convince them (as always) to truck it back to our driveway.
*looks out window*
Yeah, not today. They're predicting at least a foot of snow from NoVa, through the Delaware Valley, up to NYC. Wind chill out there: 10 degrees. Not good for anybody, but especially us public-transit-taking folk.
Maybe tomorrow, if it dies down enough, but unlikely. Possible plan B: Artificial tree from Sears or Penney's? (I have insisted, if this happens, that it is to be proper Charlie Brown Christmas Pink. Damn straight.) But there will still be Christmas Cookie Making, so all is not lost.
